My name is Athena and I am a patient living with HS. My husband passed away from Kidney Disease this year and in the months since, I find myself hiking any chance I get. Mother Nature, my dog and my best friends have been the best therapy for my broken heart. I’m also a pro at Mario Kart Tour and my obsession is reflected in the Screen Time report that iPhone gives you every week. My passion is HS Advocacy. I am a Director for Hope for HS and the Patient Lead for the Hershey Chapter. The support groups are the most rewarding work I’ve ever done. I spent years without a voice for my HS. In these groups I found mine and now I get to help others find theirs.

Hi I’m Lasha, and I have HS. I enjoy paint nights, traveling, fondue, and dressing up for Halloween. I love escape rooms, got engaged in one recently. My biggest passion is animals, and helping by fostering.

Hi! I'm Kelly and I'm the Surgical Team Lead and an LPN student that works in community Dermatology at Symmetry. HS is truly a passion in our office. The rest of my time is spent paddle boarding and hanging with my dog, Jack.

My main way of trying to stay positive is being around the ones I love and talking about any problems I may be having. I’ve discussed my condition with quite a few people. The reason I do it is because I know that discussing my situation could help someone else and/or spread awareness.
